Reality is malleable.

Your identity is not fixed.

No matter who you are, what you’ve done, and where you’ve been, you can always become the person you’ve wanted to be deep down.

It can start today.

#1: Imagination: Are you visualising what you want?

“You can study all these things that you have in a book, but if you don’t have the imagination and then take it to another level, it doesn’t mean anything.” — Elon Musk

All change first starts with your mental construct of yourself and your circumstances.

Regardless of what happened in the past — ten years ago or even yesterday, today is a new day and you can always revise yourself anew.

Do you use your imagination on a daily basis? Can you picture, with great clarity, the future you’re pulling towards yourself?

What you are holding in your mind as mental pictures is giving the subconscious a direction — whether positive or negative.

What does that ‘you’ look like? What is their environment? Who do they surround themselves with? What are their behaviors and habits?

Make it as real as possible in your mind’s eye.

Using imagination, or guided imagery, tricks the brain. Your brain cannot tell the difference between reality and imagination. Research has shown that mental practices are almost as effective as physical practices, and doing both is more effective than either alone.

World Champion Golfer, Jack Nicklaus said: “I never hit a shot, not even in practice, without having a very sharp in-focus picture of it in my head”

#2: Belief: Can you believe in yourself, and trust the process?

Very interesting article. I endorse all those points of view. Being a Transformational Hypnotherapist, I employ a lot of what you mentioned, to empower and encourage self development!
